I posted the recipe for Mushroom Gravy specifically because I was going to publish this recipe. This is something I normally serve with the mushroom gravy and a side of corn and mashed potatoes. This recipe can be made ahead of time and frozen as individual meals including the sides. Something I used to do so I could bring food to work.

What could be more typical of "comfort food" than Salisbury Steak. There are many recipes for this dish and this is definitely one of them.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup bread crumbs (I use unseasoned)
- 2 eggs
- 3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients listed above and form into steak shaped patties about ½" thick
- In a skillet over medium heat with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil fry the steaks turning once until gold brown on both sides.
- Serve with mushroom gravy
